SJRC now has a YouTube channel. It is called “SJRCrowingvideos.” Hopefully we can consolidate all of our SJRC videos here. If you have any footage of our rowers rowing, feel free to post it. Email Jamie for the password in order to post as ”SJRCrowingvideos.”

The Spring schedule includes, but is not limited to the following regattas:

April 20 & 21 – Mercer Sprints

April 29 – Cooper Cup

May 11 & 12 – US Rowing Mid Atlantic

June 7 to 10th US Rowing Youth Nationals – Oakridge, Tennessee - Qualifying boats only.

JL Team Store to open December 18

We are pleased to announce the SJRC Team Store through JLRacing.

This store is open for a LIMITED TIME ONLY. The opening of the store is scheduled for December 18^th, and will close promptly at midnight on January 1^st. NO individual orders will be accepted by the racing store after this date..

The SJRC/JL racing unisuit is mandatory for all rowers. The JL tech shirt is a recommended purchase.

The SJRC Store utilizes a secure on line cart system. Individual customers must use credit card for payment. Checks are not acceptable. All prices include shipping and handling. Tax if applicable will be calculated and charged at checkout.

Delivery date of all purchased items is scheduled for Saturday, February 18^th.

Parent Meeting

There will be a mandatory meeting for all Parent’s on September 8 to discuss the upcoming Fall season and expectations for the entire year through Spring. It is recommended that a parent attend for those athletes that only row in the Spring.

Learn to Row Program

On Saturday September 17 and Sunday September 18 we will be running a free learn to row program from 11 AM to 2 PM. All current athletes will be required to attend. The program is open to only those kids who come from high schools that do not have rowing at their schools. All rowers are encouraged to bring friends or family to come out and try rowing.

Independence Day Regatta

The Independence Day Regatta is a large regatta. Please review the information posted on their website for parking, schedule, College Expo and more. Kelly Drive will be closed and you will not be permitted access without a pass.

Congratulation to our mens lightweight 8 for earning a spot and competing at the USRowing Youth National Championships in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The boys qualified by finishing 1st at the Mid-Atlantic Junior District Championships this spring.

Congratulations to our rowers John Laberee, Casey Yang, Zach Kovach, Mike Ricciardi, Reid Moak, Shawn Hammond, Brandon Crouch and Alex Siegel…. to our coxn Julianne Calzonette……and to Coach Jamie Stack
