through Regatta Central.
SJRC Summer Competitive Team
The SJRC Summer Competitive Team is open to High School aged, experienced rowers.
Practice Times:
June 14 – June 24 (or when school ends): 4 pm – 7 pm
Jule 24 – July 18: 6am-9am weekdays
Saturdays approximate times are 7 to 10 am
Races:
June 18 Schuylkill Navy Regatta – Philadelphia
July 1 – 3 Independence Day Regatta – Philadelphia
July 13 to 17 US Rowing Club Nationals in Indianapolis, IN. (departure 11th, returning on the 18th).
Cost: $795 covers hotel accommodation in IN and summer racing top.
SJRC Joy of Sculling Team
This program is for athletes interested in improving and racing but not interested in
traveling to USRowing Nationals. Here you will have a chance to scull, improve
fintness and technique, and most of all, have fun. This is the next step for former
Middle School rowers.
Practice Times:
June 14 – June 24 (or when school ends): 4 pm - 6 pm
Jule 24 – July 18: 10am-1pm weekdays
Saturdays TBD
Races:
June 18 Schuylkill Navy Regatta – Philadelphia
July 1 – 3 Independence Day Regatta – Philadelphia
July 16 Philadelphia Youth Regatta - Philadelphia
Cost: $450
SJRC Learn – to-Row
Several session are offered during the summer for High School and Middle School ages.
